Nashville Guru: New Year’s Day Brunch

Kick off your new year with a delicious brunch at one of these awesome places. Whether you’re recovering from New Year’s Eve or just grabbing some grub because you have the day off, here are the best places to get brunch on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2016.

 

Where to Eat on New Year’s Day in Nashville

 

Tavern

Tavern will have brunch on New Year’s Day from 10am til 3pm. They’ll even be doing doing their regular brunch drink specials — 2-for-1 sangria, bloody Marys and mimosas. If you haven’t been to brunch at Tavern, you have to check it out. Try the Huevos Rancheros or Preztel Pancakes.

 

 

Saint Anejo

Saint Anejo will also have brunch on New Year’s Day from 10am til 3pm. They’ll also be doing their regular brunch drink specials — 2-for-1 brunch libations including the blood orange mimosa, wicked bloody mary, red sangria, and more. If you need some food item suggestions, try the Dark Chocolate Waffles or the Omelet Tres.

 

 

Mad Donna’s

Mad Donna’s in East Nashville will open at 9:00am on New Year’s Day for brunch. They’ll have 2-for-1 mimosas and their build-your-own bloody mary bar! You’ve got to try The Big Don if you haven’t already.

 

 

Biscuit Love

Biscuit Love will be open regular hours (7:00am to 3:00pm) with their normal menu on New Year’s Day. If you see a line, you know it’s worth the wait. Ring in 2016 with their bonuts and you’ll definitely have a great start to your year.

 

 

M.L. Rose

M.L. Rose will serve brunch from 10:00am til 3:00pm on New Year’s Day at both locations. Do yourself a favor and try the cinnamon bites or the melrose mess, or both!

 

 

Embers Ski Lodge

Embers in 12 South is hosting a Pajama Brunch beginning at noon on New Year’s Day. There will be $5 mimosas and the regular brunch menu.

 

 

1808 Grille

 

1808 Grille will have a brunch buffet from 8am til 2pm on New Year’s Day. The buffet will include scrambled eggs, chicken and biscuits, and more. It’s $28 per person.
